I will have to agree...these guys are seriously amazing! I needed to do smog check on my car and Yelp led me to Taylormade. Scott took care of me. Very friendly guy. My car's service light was on and they can't perform smog check until the light was off. So although I spent ~$600 instead of just $65, I was satisfied and happy with the service. I know things about car here and there but they explain to you stuff. True they need to make money but at the same time they want you to save money in the long run. Making smart decisions now will help ensure that (these are the words of wise Scott). I should listen to this since my car is so freaking expensive to maintain...well, aren't all cars? And keep all your service records (another wise suggestion from Scott). Truly great service. It's a family owned and operated company. Listen to this, they offer ride service to and from the shop. They know people are busy with work and since they're not open on weekends (when people have more free time for errands), they are willing to give you a ride, then when you're car is ready, you call them and they pick you up. How awesome is that? Now, I don't have to bother my co-workers to give me a lift. I wonder when they'll start throwing in car washes - okay, that maybe pushing it too far lol.

I feel safe driving my car knowing any problem has been fixed and all else has been checked out.The staff is friendly and helpful in getting me in and out quickly.The prices are competitive.

As a 77 year old widow, knowing absolutely nothing about cars except where to put the gas, I can always depend on Taylormade to be honest with me. All of the employees are kind, smiling and encouraging to me with my various automotive problems. Living only a few blocks away and being able to count on transportation home is a BIG plus, as well as having the knowledge that my car is being taken well care of.

Seriously...these guys are AMAZING! Grade A+++ Family owned and operated. I drive all the way here from the city to get our oil change, maintenance....everything. HONEST, RELIABLE, FRIENDLY...and did I mention HONEST? Usually, car mechanic and honesty doesn't really go hand in hand but this place is an exception to that statement. Scott is awesome. Great customer service and you don't feel the "pressure sales pitch" and you need this, need that or your car will fall apart "bs." They tell you how it is, what needs to be done and what can wait cuz they know fixing a car can be monetarily damaging...so hats off to them and the team. Good and sound and very logical/realistic advice. They do not "hurry up" on working on your car. They perform QUALITY AND HONEST work. And...they do go out of their way to try to accomodate you. We've been servicing our car here for 2 years now so this review is long overdue. Advance 1 day appointment only. UPDATE: No longer open on Saturdays.

I had an emergency fix on my car which needed immediate attention - a wheel bearing replacement! The owners at Taylor Made were so quick to respond...and provided the best service (even better than the Lexus Dealership which I have been accustomed to). Instead of having me wait in the room, they were able to drop me off at home and pick me up when my car was ready. They finished the repair in 30 minutes less than the estimated timeframe, which saved me another $60! They also took the liberty to fix some random issues on my car (light fuse) right before I was taking my trip to San Luis Obispo. The service and price was the best yet! I highly recommend Taylor Made! The shop is owned and run by a family...nothing better than utilize local merchants in the area!

My first experience with Taylormade was in a panic situation. I'm on the freeway and my car begins to jerk slightly, within minutes the jerking became progressively worse. I called a mechanic that worked on my daughters car and was informed they did not work on Lexus, but referred me to Taylormade, who I immediately called. Scott answered the phone, told me to drive my car to their shop. The rest is history, Scott assured me everything would be fine, asked one of his young assistants to drive me home and they called me when they found the problem (I can't even remember what was causing the problem), and they fixed my car as good as new. I've since brought my car and my daugther's car there for minor things and a couple of major fixes, and Scott is always at the front desk to greet you and assure you they will take care of your auto needs. They always provide a ride to BART, if needed, and pick-up too. Everyone at Taylormade is very professional and extremely nice. Their mechanics are very competent and well-trained in fixing whatever's wrong with your car. Thank you Taylormade!

Dropped off my car at 5am. Walked to BART. Received a call before lunch that my tire and oil change were done, and they let me know about my throttle body and transmission fluid. All work was done well and on time, and very reasonably priced.See you in 4000 miles!
